Since 1993 the management of Arabesque has been involved in
Oman’s growing tourism business. During that almost two
decades we have been delighted to provide unique experiences
in Oman – some of which are included on
our Photo gallery
on Flickr. Our blog of course has text and images from tours we have
done as well as some events in Oman. Some
Magazine and
Newspaper articles which Tony occasionally writes are
included below. Though many travel
web sites use 'stock photos' of a country we have chosed to
use only images taken by us in Oman.
Badar who is from the north-west of Oman was amongst the
first intake of Tourism Students at Sultan Qaboos
University. Unlike many of those students he has been
involved in tourism since then and is widely travelled
through the country which helps Panorama offer unique
programs for its clients. Amongst his highlights so far of
2011 has been acting as guide during the visit into Oman by
John Honeywell 'Captain Greybeard' (left) and learn about life for
an acclaimed British newspaper editor ..
Tony’s reason for coming to Oman in 1986 was to take up the
management of a retail business, following which he
established his own retail operation. His move into tourism
in 1993 was a natural result of his passion for exploring
Oman. Tony’s most memorable experience of 2011 has been as a
result of his working as Lecturer on-board the small cruise
ship the ‘Island Sky’ . As a result of anti-pirate
precautions the ship cruised the Arabian Sea under a strict
‘black-out’, and in a sea full of ‘phosphorescence’ he
remembers the ship's wake as a comet illuminating the ocean
and the Dolphins streaking through it appearing like
shooting stars in a magical tableau .

We
hope you will join us in Oman and permit us not only to
offer you a holiday in Oman but also an insight into our
